Maria Gabriella Perez, the 51 year-old owner of the Chez Gabriela Studio based in Beverly Hill, California, could be facing up to 25 years in a federal prison if she is convicted of the two counts of fraud device access. Maria Gabriella Perez was apprehended by the local authorities on Wednesday the 18th of August 2010 after she was caught fraudulently charging her celebrity clients hundreds of thousands of dollars on their American Express cards and credit cards. Jennifer Aniston, who appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America told the viewers in a very subtle manner that she had been duped by Maria Gabriella Perez and that since the incident took place she had stopped visiting the beautician. Maria Gabriella Perez who is the owner of the beauty salon has fraudulently charged three other celebrities of humongous amounts for simple facial treatments with Liv Tyler being one of those who had been taken for a spin.
Liv Tyler was charged $214,000 on her American Express card for getting a facial skin treatment done from the Chez Gabriela Studio and this came out to the light when the management company for the studio found irregularities of magnificent proportions on the billing statements.

Police have arrested a Beverly Hills hairdresser accused of defrauding high-profile celebrity clients including Jennifer Aniston, Cher and Anne Hathaway. Maria Gabriela Perez, 51, is accused of using the credit card numbers of the film and music stars who frequented her salon to fraudulently run up bills in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Perez, who was arrested without resistance in front of her clients, faces 25 years in prison if convicted. Among others allegedly targeted by her scheme are Melanie Griffith and Liv Tyler, from whom Perez is accused of stealing some 241,000 dollars via transactions that used the actress’s credit card information. In addition to the credit card fraud allegations, Perez is also accused other crimes including pick-pocketing and social security fraud.

Liv Tyler gets beauty advice from her rock star father. The actress – daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and model Bebe Buell – admits her dad is her style guru and he is often giving her tips, including perfuming the soles of her feet. Liv – who wasn’t aware Steven was her father until the age of 11, thinking instead it was music producer Todd Rundgren – said: “My father is full of great beauty advice, like wear your perfume in your belly button and on the soles of your feet so that it becomes part of you.” Liv, 33, also admitted she looks to her 62-year-old father for inspiration when she gets worried about wrinkles. She said: “My grandmother gives me major hope, my dad too because he hasn’t had any work done and looks amazing. He doesn’t have any wrinkles.”

Jack White attacked a star-studded audience at one of his gigs – which included Alexa Chung and Liv Tyler – calling them ‘hip mother******s’. The musician was playing with his band The Dead Weather when he laid into the crowd, criticising their lack of enthusiasm. New York Daily News reports that White yelled: “”F*** you, you hip mother******s! Why don’t you rock the f*** out? Maybe I should go grab those free drinks and shove them down your throats, you hip mother******s!” Sean Lennon and Mary-Kate Olsen were also in the crowd at the secret show in New York. White also reportedly stopped the gig halfway through to get a member of the audience in the front row thrown out because he was taking photos of the band. But White did back down towards the end of the gig and apologised. He told the crowd: “I’m sorry I blew up at you guys earlier. Thanks for coming out.”

Liv Tyler is urging magazine editors to stop publishing airbrushed photographs of Hollywood stars – because she finds body imperfections “charming and beautiful”. The Lord of the Rings actress is tired of seeing “manipulated” images of celebrities gracing the covers of publications and she wants the media to promote a more natural look. She tells Britain’s Daily Telegraph, “I know what people look like, and I see what pictures look like before they’re airbrushed – my own and those of my friends – and every image is so manipulated. “They’ll take a hair off your arm and get rid of a pore or freckle on your face. “Personally, I find imperfections and flaws charming and beautiful. I like it that all people don’t look the same.”

Liv Tyler is “too sensitive” for casual relationships. The 32-year-old actress – who has a five-year-old son Milo with ex-husband Royston Langdon – has been single since splitting from the rocker in May 2008 and admits she rarely goes on dates because she worries about getting hurt. She told Tatler magazine: “I fall in love once in a blue moon. “I wouldn’t be capable of having a casual fling. I’m far too sensitive, and I just wouldn’t have any pleasure from it.” Liv has previously spoken about how separating from Royston made her feel physically ill.
